The special surface of the afterglow panel is constantly charged by natural or artificial light sources, stores the energy of the light and illuminates with a yellowish-green light after the light ceases, until the time the light goes out. The text and the image on the board are clearly legible even in the dark.
No need for a separate power supply, can be retrofitted at any time.

Prior to measurements, standard illumination (D65, 1000 lx) of the illumination panels was applied for 5 minutes. Color measurements were made during the first 5 minutes of the afterglow period at an ambient temperature of 22-24 ° C. The extinction time and luminance of 10 and 60 minutes after switching off the light source significantly exceed the requirements of DIN 67510.
